Acomo operates in 19 countries globally with 34 offices. Its Dutch office in the World Trade Center (WTC) in Rotterdam. The holding manages and financially controls the Group’s investments and oversees its subsidiaries in the areas of finance, treasury, internal auditing, risk management, legal, tax, IT, business development, mergers and acquisitions, ESG, HR, and other matters. Furthermore, the holding company provides and arranges the Group’s financing. The holding organization currently consists of 12 people, and is now looking for a Junior Tax Manager to further strengthen its team.

As Junior Tax Manager within the Acomo holding you will be a key partner to our finance teams, reporting directly to the Group Controller.

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

• Tax accounting and reporting under IFRS, review of local country tax packages;
• Effective tax rate reconciliation;
• Coordinate the group’s CbCR and Pillar 2 reporting;
• Preparation of the corporate income tax return for the Dutch fiscal unity;
• Tax compliance coordination (not limited to corporate income tax);
• Set-up and maintain the group’s tax guidelines, review adherence to guidelines and procedures;

The ideal candidate has a degree in (tax) accounting and experience as a consultant of a big-four accounting firm and/or experience with corporate taxes and (tax) accounting in a middle-sized or large corporate international environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a hands-on team player who takes initiative;
• Has a self-starting, positive, and pragmatic attitude with the ability to think outside the box;
• Exhibits excellent analytical and numerical abilities, capable of clearly explaining tax accounting treatment to the management of our group companies with limited tax knowledge;
• Is familiar with the composition of tax returns and how to account for taxes, including effective tax rate reconciliations and deferred tax positions;
• Is proficient in working with financial software applications and eager to improve and automate tax controls and monitoring;
• Possesses excellent communication skills and fluency in both Dutch and English.
